About Me

What it’s like to work with me:

It’s why you are here, isn’t it? Feeling comfortable with your therapist is so important. Research even shows that the alliance between therapist and client plays a significant role in treatment outcomes.

Firstly, I don’t expect you to trust me after our first meeting because trust takes time. But, I am confident we can get there together. What you really need to know about me is that I am warm, genuine and one of very few therapists with advanced training in both Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for individual adults. I also have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including childhood abuse, sexual assault/rape, homicide survivors, intimate partner violence, and war-related trauma. Yet, I also understand that you may feel more comfortable knowing my exact credentials, so please feel free to view my CV and learn more about my training background.

I use treatments that are scientifically supported AND tailor them in a way that is client-centered. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all treatment, so let’s do this together.
